WANTED: Laser Cut Start Line Box Kit
We have a new pylon racer here in Phoenix and he is looking to build a Start Line Box from a laser cut kit.
I recall there used to be kits available for sale. Are there any available any more???
Thanks,
Randy

Hi Hank,
I am interested in attending if I can cross the border in my motorhome. I will not come if I have to fly.

Re: Pete Bergstrom
I only knew Pete as our Starter at the NATS in Muncie for many years. I will always remember his last words before the start of every heat, " Gentlemen, have fun. You're on the clock! " Pete showed us all how to have fun in the midst of our competitive hobby. He did it with class. Pete will be misse...

Re: Nipples
I would like to know the source for the plastic tear-drop fitting that slides over your fuel line and is used to pinch off the fuel prior to the motor. I used to buy them from HobbyKing but they are no longer available. Anyone have a clue where to find those little things. They are very handy and ha...

Re: Rules Refreshers
Hi Chuck, I agree on the question of start line launch procedure. I think the rule is very clear. Pushing the plane from behind the line prior to the clock reaching zero is clearly an early launch in my mind. I recall in Phoenix at the Q40 Classic this year, Doug Houston, my Caller, got me a launch ...

Re: Ball bearing tool
Tim,
The bearing replacement tool you refer to is made by Jack Hinkel from Arizona. I have this tool set and it works very well. Easy and quick bearing replacement without heating the case.

Re: Q-40 top 20 (so far)
Hi Gary, Is the NMPRA Champ race held in early October at OJA included in the points total? In the October newsletter, I don't see it listed but that may be because of the lead time necessary for the newsletter. Also, there was a Q40 race in Saskatoon, August 25 that is not listed. Kevin Umbach from...
