Re: A Mid-Atlantic race in lieu of OJA's race

I’m in the same boat as Dennis. Never was able to make the past races, and have a work trip scheduled over the proposed weekend, but would love to come in the future!

Re: 2023 426 Points Final Standings

Rocket, actually I have you for seven races. It was my mistake as I forgot to check one last thing before I submitted; sorry about that. I had all seven races entered but forgot to un-zero a column. You moved up quite a bit. I think next year I will post the column that shows name/membership status...

Re: Futaba Servo S9670

The 671SV is a great servo, every one of my Dagos has had them on aileron & elevator. It’s basically a 173SV with the side mounting tabs added to the case.

Scotty,

Jim Allen and myself have been using them without issue since they came out a few years ago.

Re: Bla bla bla

LOL. I went 1:05.07 for 11 laps on a 7.5. Also got 1st and FT (with a 59) at the 2017 Nats with a 7.5.

That wasn't even the fastest prop in Q40! :D
Which prop is the fastest 🤔
First and FT both used the 7.5.

Wanted F1 Stinger or Polecat Landing Gear

Looking for a landing gear for an F1 Stinger. I know the Violett Polecat gear would work, but don’t want to use the one I have because it goes with a NIB kit I have.

Let me know what you have and what you want for it.

Thank you!

Re: NATS 2023 - Sounds of the Game

Really looking forward to the NATS experience this year. Big part for me has always been those unique sounds of the game heard throughout the week. Jr requested we get this fired up again...so here goes. 1) DK's s*%# is fast 2) Michele needs another Margarita Rocket 3) Damn it's muggy 4) Take cover...

Re: Red Barron Equipment Installation

I run my lines the other direction through the needle (feed line to the 90 degree fitting, the inline fitting to the spraybar). It allows a shorter, direct line from the tank to the needle. The other line is about the same length or maybe slightly shorter as well. ;)

Re: EF-1 Urgent Battery Change...

As somebody that hasn't flown EF1 since the 2018 Nats and doesn't yet know if their batteries are still good or not, I'm glad there are more options available. It would've sucked to have to sit out the Nats just because competitive batteries weren't available at a reasonable cost.
