I used the Italian plug on my 426 engine. Worked fine and appears to be best option.

The Nelson HD will also work but is a little cold blooded. You need to keep the battery on until the engine is peeked.

I recently got a reminder to update my FAA membership. Many members also are due soon so follow the links and submit your fees.

The Red Barron is now ready for test flights.

Trim the cowl on the cut lines and then fit as required. It fits very well and requires only minimal fitting around the fuel tubing.

Tape the cowl in place with racing tape.

Here is the tubing routing for my model. Comes from tank, through engine kill, then through needle valve to engine.

After a couple days you can remove the wing. The silicone will continue to get hard for a few more days.
