I guess Kurt Bozarth has been busy lately ... but you've definitely met his high standards with this one! I thought maybe someone had made the model equivalent of a Ly-Con (Lycoming/Continental hybrid). Well done.

Mazatlan would be perfect, but my wife and I found no affordable flights, and the resorts are probably still mopping up after that hurricane last year. The Texoma area looks promising, though.

Those 8 x 8s aren't necessarily worthless. They seem to be pretty good for the E-Q15 airplanes I'm fooling with right now, so stay tuned ... oh, and merry Christmas! I think I see some fuel jugs under the tree!

+1 to what Scott said. Also, if you have dual aileron servos or can modify your setup, a flaperon function definitely helps for landing. I've found that just a little "droop" in the ailerons and (usually) a hair of up elevator trim mixed in will tame them quite a bit. Start small, use trial & error,...
