Two New TT.40 For Sale with Q500 Fuselages
A friend of mine was exploring the idea of racing 424 a few years back. I had two new TT.40's, and a used TT.40 I sold to him, along with two Ricochet Fuselages and Stabs. Well, life got in the way and he never went racing, and is now purging his shop. See Pics, $275.00 or best offer. I will be at t...

Re: How many batteries for a race?
Hey Guys! I have recruited a new racer, my sport flying friend Alex. I gave him a Shoestring kit I had sitting round. We test flew it over the last few days. He is using some TP2200 4S packs that he had laying around, but I think they are too light with not enough capacity. He wants to order a few p...

Re: Left or Right ?????
Well Mike, since you enjoyed that so much, why don’t we drill down in the AMA Pylon Racing Rule book and see where it says that the CD can change the race format for the NATS?
Thanks. Dave
(Just kidding!)

Re: Left or Right ?????
While most airplanes that are designed to be flown single pilot have cockpits that are set up to be flown from the left seat(Helicopters/Right Seat), from a regulatory stand point, the PIC is the designated at the beginning of the flight, regardless of witch seat he/she occupies. Example: Student Pi...

Re: paint
Bruce, 1. SEM rattle can Primer, the rose colored version seems to cover best. 2. Dupli-color rattle can, or Rust-oleum 3. Automotive paint shops now sell clear coat in a can, that is one time use. it has a plunger on the bottom of the can that sends the activator in the aerosol. Works great, lasts ...

Re: 2020 Q40 Points reports
If we are going to drill down to that level, why was anyone whom had not paid 2020 dues permitted entry to the race ? If you paid in 2019, But forgot in 2020, then paid 9 months of back dues to get current, Why would the win be disallowed? It’s an AMA sanctioned contest, NMPRA is a special interest ...

Re: 2020 NMPRA CHAMPIONSHIP RACE RESULTS
Yep! it was a great time. Congrats once again to Mario and Dan. These two guys have practiced and work harder than any team I know of over the last few years. I had planned on flying but damaged my new Ashely in a silly landing incident a few days before. I had the days off and the hotel booked, so ...

This is how I do mine (Z bend on the other end) Q40, the wire portion is shorter, these are for the Ricochet.

Re: Central Hobbies pushrods
for what its worth, I use central hobbies push rod ends on all of my electric 3D ARFs, Love them. However, a few people over the years have advised me that the titanium is brittle and at risk of failure due to vibration on a nitro powered pylon racer. Not sure how true that is, but I have stuck with...

Re: Your latest creation
You bet, and yes, I was not sure if the bag would suck down on the entire wing tool like it did on the tail. But it worked just fine. This was one of the reasons made a flat tail tool.

Re: Your latest creation
Correction; I meant to say perforated plastic and breather. 8) the peal-ply has been removed in these pictures. It leaves a flat, dull, and near ready to bond surface. I still rough up the spar channel with 150 grit and clean with Acetone before bonding. This stuff is used on full scale composite ai...
