Vortex
I've got an older "solid" tail Vortex I'm wanting to sell. I've had it for a while and it's been battle tested a decent amount. It's got the normal wing tip scrapes and a couple bumps and bruises on the fuse but still flies great. It's got Futaba 9650 servos on the control surfaces and a 3102 on the...

Nelson large flange Q40 engine
I purchased this from a guy that's decided to stick with Jetts. He purchased it about 6 months ago and neither one of us has ran it. He was told that it has less than 10 runs on it and from the pictures I'd believe it. I've decided I don't need 4 engines so I'm selling it. It will come with a 1 1/2"...

Re: 2022 Mike Tallman Legacy Race
Well ladies & gents another Mike Tallman Legacy Race is in the books. As always we want to thank the workers who sacrifice their weekends to let us play with toy airplanes. And to Vernelle Tallman for mowing the field, cooking us some wonderful brats and burgers and keeping us all happy with her ama...

Re: 2022 Mike Tallman Legacy Race
Just to give you guys a little bit of a heads up the weather guessers are saying the wind is going to be coming from the SSE Friday morning to midafternoon. It then starts to turn to the North and will be either from the NE or N on Saturday and Sunday. I am going to set up the "North" course on Thur...

Re: TEXAS Racing September
Thank you to Dennis and club for putting on the race. It was a good field to fly at and was a lot of fun racing there. But yeah I could do with a few, ok a lot, less mosquitos. I finally figured out bathing in Deepwoods Off kept the blood sucking to a minimum. Schedule willing I'll be back in ...

Re: 2022 Mike Tallman Legacy Race
Rocket with 3 plane heats it's fairly easy to do because we can spread out enough to generally not have too much take off carnage. 4 plane heats make it a little harder but still doable. Especially if people remember that the rudder is used to take off straight. Come on out to Goddard, KS and ...

Re: 2022 Mike Tallman Legacy Race
Ok boys and girls, we're a couple weeks out so it's time for the "how it's gonna work" post. 1. We will have a trailer to be used to haul us back and forth from the pitts. The major rule with this is we CANNOT sit on the fenders, if we do we will not have it for future races and I just might have to...

Re: Latest and greatest timing and deck height?
My setup was .190/.018 to begin with, plug was getting little to no color and occasionally would get a slight pull on the element. It didn't have the rabid dog growl that Kurt talked about but seemed to have plenty of speed. The problem was it wasn't needling like it usually does. I'd start about a ...

Re: Wanted R200 oe R200 wing
Chago, I've got a red and white R200n reqdy to fly minus receiver and engine, I'm wanting to sell. It's never been crashed. It has futaba 9650s on control surfaces and a 3102 on the shutoff. Wing has a couple minor wing rubs on the bottom and a couple spots where the red trim Paint flaked off. I'd l...

Re: 2022 Mike Tallman Legacy Race
Eddie you can bring out your 426 but you're gonna be kind of slow compared to everyone else.
