This is how I do mine (Z bend on the other end) Q40, the wire portion is shorter, these are for the Ricochet.

for what its worth, I use central hobbies push rod ends on all of my electric 3D ARFs, Love them. However, a few people over the years have advised me that the titanium is brittle and at risk of failure due to vibration on a nitro powered pylon racer. You bet, and yes, I was not sure if the bag would suck down on the entire wing tool like it did on the tail. But it worked just fine. This was one of the reasons made a flat tail tool.

Correction; I meant to say perforated plastic and breather. 8) the peal-ply has been removed in these pictures. It leaves a flat, dull, and near ready to bond surface.
