Re: The Very First Quarter Forty

the credit for that paint on the Loki goes to Lonnie Finch, he finished that one up for me. Now I need to stuff radio, tank, etc. in it.

Re: The Very First Quarter Forty

Kurt - it looks a little like my Loki from Sattler, also a glass fuse/foam wing airplane. The paint scheme make it tough for me to tell from the picture if the canopy area is the same or not.

Re: 2020 AMA Pylon Nationals - Muncie, IN

As in the past few years, the matrix and results will be posted at http://www.rcpylonracing.com/ A big thanks to Joe DeLateur, for again making this site available to us. Posting will depend upon WiFi at the site. Matrices will generally post the night before, though 424 may not happen until last-m...

Re: Rules Change proposals and cycle

I wouldn't bet on there being less vibration out on a wing panel. Lots of wings have no cores, other than spars, with molded skins. Early Miss Daras with servos in the wings went through a LOT of servos, before the design was changed to move the servo into the fuse and use torque rods. Resonance can...

Wow, Tony - looks like you lifted up the gas cap, drove a new airplane under it, and put the cap back on!

Re: Corona project

I have a quik-v6 that I may finally drag out of the box it came in, get it set up just because. Also have a Dirty Birdy 60-sized pattern plane I bought from the LHS, it was hanging on their ceiling as a consignment sale. OS 65AX, and I've just finished rounding up the proper Mac's header and 60 size...

Re: What'cha workin' on?

Nice, TIm! I also used two pieces of 3/4" oak glued together for the base. Had the 18 oz Tettra around. Three of us in the area have been sharing a test stand for the last couple of years with the same tank on it, and it's great for breaking in the engines. Less refueling to get the job done. If I g...
