The problem with TSA is that if the agent looking at your stuff does not like what he/she sees, they can confiscate it whether or not it meets the guidelines. I usually use deck height which I interpret as distance from top of piston to top of liner with piston at top dead center (I think my motors are usually in the .187 range +/- without shims if I remember correctly) and head clearance which I inter...

Trey, I put servos as low and far back as they go, RC in front of tray and tank pretty close to cg. Input my battery in front of tank, but I fly my planes more nose heavy than most
