Back a few pages, Randy Bridge asked what harm was there in skipping the G-10 material and just gluing the aluminum mount directly to the fuselage. My first thought was the ability of aluminum to transfer heat, and the affect that heat would have on the glue joint directly to a glass/carbon fuselage...
