Heres my new Toni EF1, tested and ready for the NATS!! not the most original paint scheme (Gary Hover early 80s?) but i liked it, and did my own thing with it!

this looks great! love when new ef1s come out! I wanted to do an El Bandito ef1, which is similar to Cosmic Wind... but i just have no time for design and R&D. Cant wait to see the finished product.

Curious if you could give an idea of how much weight was added from the unpainted covered model to the finished product? I didn't weigh it prior to painting....that would of been a good idea though. Usually my kit built Ef1s come out a bit under weight, so i assumed a bit of paint wouldn't make it ...

I did try this technique on my latest EF1.. whole plane is covered in white ultra coat.... red is Krylon, grey is testors primer and the yellow is rustoleum. Clear coat is also rustoleum...
