Re: Kane's EF-1 at the Nats
It would be nice to see that little Toni Kitted like that, or, similar. With a strong wing of course to handle 5s........oops...LOL :D The Toni is available in a kit form. It is available from RBC kits. http://www.rbckits.com/shop/airplane-kits/balsa-build-kits/rbc-electric-formula-1/ef1-little-ton...

Re: Kane's EF-1 at the Nats
Jeff, I flew the Yellow Shark during the NATS. I won best of show with a Little Toni. Details: Both the Shark and the Estrelitta will be available as an ARF. Details will be available later this year. The Little Toni is a scratch built airplane, for which I have plans. The airplane has Travis Flynn'...

Re: Miss Dara
Jeff I had another thought about an airplane that you can use for testing. Scott Manning built and raced a glass fuselage foam wing polecat in EF-1 at Whittier. The Whittier club used their own EF-1 rules in the beginning. Reach out to Scott and see if he has anything left you can use as a test plan...

Re: Miss Dara
Well, I didn't see that one coming. I am not sure eliminating 424 is the correct path for pylon in general. I love the fact that the guys in the Northeast have incorporated electric power to be run with the nitro motors. If anything I would consider a rules re-write to include electric vs eliminatin...

Re: Miss Dara
Well, the Estrelitta and Shark from Small is my airplane as well. And yes it will work if you can find a foam wing kit and build it with enough reinforcement. Jerry and I gave the kit to Carolina Custom Kits. Mark may be supplying both wood and foam wings, I am not sure. And I am not aware of anyone...

Re: Miss Dara
Jeff, It is. Unfortunately, what I provided and what they ended up with are very different. It would be very tough for me to tell you how to do it without having their files to know the construction methods used. Sorry. I suggested the invictus, because I am aware of what Red went through to make it...

Re: Rules - Battery question.
Jeff, I am not opposed to investigating anything. I am not sure how too many ARF's will hold up to 5S. The Invictus is the only one I would even attempt this with. Fly it for awhile and let me know how things go. Get the guys in Cali to try it. Otherwise nothing will happen. Personally, I am very gl...

Re: Rules - Battery question.
The intention is to have one battery.
Therefore parallel systems are not permitted. However I will bring it to a vote for a rule revision and see what is determined.

Re: Motor Question
Tom,
Thanks for the info. I forgot about the OS, being that it was discontinued.
Does anyone have any info on bearing cost from a NON-OEM source? And source? (for any motor).

Re: Evolution 46 NX Installation to 426 Engine Mount
Dan, Who's mount is this?? Better yet, where can a few be purchased?? Trey Trey, Gordon is correct. Those mounts are from the early days of 428. Henry sold those mounts with the first run of Quickee motors. You may find some old crusty veterans that have a couple in a box. I am not 100% sure that t...
