Re: Estrellita EF1 / Shark EF1
Well... you have the only set of plugs for them that I'm aware of... Dan/Jerry are not - they were making plastic cowls and wheel pants. I believe Mark at Carolina Custom Kits is distributing what Dan/Jerry sent him and am not sure if he's making more. We could also use a source of canopies and wing...

Re: Estrellita EF1 / Shark EF1
Ummm... do you mean April 9th?
I'll send the email but I really need the parts by or within a week of that date Don. Otherwise I'll see if I can make a set myself from the remaining cowl I have.

Naked Estrellita
Thanks to Scott Mooney Estrellita #1 has finally been transformed from a box of sticks and styrofoam to an ARC.
Planning to get it covered this weekend and in the air next weekend.

Are the fiberglass cowl and wheel pants available for the Estrellita yet?

Re: Proud Bird EF1 - Build and Review
Did TWM also add the sheer webbing necessary to keep the wings from flexing when they changed the covering on the Outrageous and Scarlet Screamer? If not I'd recommend stripping the wing and adding it or you risk wing failure turning around pylon 1. I watched the video on YouTube. Comments there see...

Re: Proud Bird EF1 - Build and Review
Don, I'd have posted these comments to the video but you have them turned off. I've raced the Proud Bird almost exclusively for the past three years. It's a great choice for racing in EF1 if you're not a builder. Magnets - use wax paper between the magnets and glue the loose ones to the canopy. Kick...

Re: LiPo batteries and TSA
I flew with a bunch of little Lipo's from Reno to Las Vegas last year as well as a couple of Inductrix sized drones and my transmitter in my carry on backpack (had my laptop in there too!) without issue. I told the TSA agent what was in the backpack prior and he said it wasn't a problem... I had cal...

Re: Standard and Expert Classes
Dan, I understand that you ran everyone together and then separated the times at the end of the race. No worries - makes sense to do that rather than separate the two classes into different heats. I've asked if Jim is willing to try this at Winterfest but he said he'd rather think about it and do th...

Re: Standard and Expert Classes
I suppose the breakout time could be lowered appropriately for the longer 424/426 course. Shouldn't take too much research to figure out what the time should be... Dan - if the guys out on the west coast were willing to try this out would the NMPRA be willing to track EF1 standard and expert standin...

Re: NewB
EF1 is a great place to start or get back into Pylon racing! The class is fairly inexpensive to fly (no $400-$1200 composite air frames!) while still being FUN! Hope that you take the plunge, build an EF1 airplane and head to a two or three pole race! Make sure to practice beforehand!!! Am sure the ...

I believe there was an event held in Oakdale which is not on the list. Joe Delateur should have the point totals Dan.

Re: OpenTX / Taranis .bmp images for EF-1
I'm not currently using the Taranis for EF1. If I change and add the stabilization receiver to an EF1 airplane I'll share the eepe.
