All kidding aside (first time I have ever said that), I have used fingernail polish as touch-up paint for years and found it to be fuel-proof.

Does anyone have any updates on how the contest board voted on the new AMA Q40 “423” and AMA Q500 “427” 4-pole classes and whether they will be flown at this year’s Nats instead of 3-pole?

Lipo fully charged is 8.4 volts. Non HV servos dont like this. A little battery management like charging a lipo to the max voltage of a fully charged life pack and your servos will be fine.. Rocket - are you saying we don’t need a regulator when using non-HV servos if we simply charge the 2s lipos ...

Hey, I think I found the source of my engine woes - I might have a pinhole in the fuel line, but I’m not sure. Re-installing the tank with new fuel line for another round of tests! Stay tuned!

So sorry to hear about the passing of Rusty. His Miss Ashley II is my all time favorite, and he shared a lot of information with me about building, painting and flying them. He will be missed.
