Re: Tutorials for Stabilization and Telemetry on Spektrum, Futaba, Hitec, FrSky Taranis X9D, and more

Hi Don, Yes I have created a converter that takes the Sprektrum rpm signal (which is just a square wave) does a little averaging and outputs the rpm in the format needed for the smart port telemetry input used on the S6R ( and several other Frsky rxs). Re: Lost plane buzzer

May want to check out this one. Runs on its own battery but you can disarm it without having to get to it. (Turn off main switch, turn back on main switch, and turn if off again within 3 seconds disarms the alarm.)

Re: Your latest creation

Love my CMAD ninja's but needed to put together a split wing fleet for traveling since Jeff Robinson is not doing his western plane drive this year.

So test hopped two new V-guns and dialed in my existing slingshot at Oakdale on father's day.

Ready to ship to nats.

Re: High Voltage Batteries not allowed??

Thanks for all the input. Since I have published we will be running this way for awhile, I am going to stick to the restriction for this race rather than changing in the last few weeks before the race. I will discuss with the pilots at the race and decide if it will be changed for next year. Regards...

Re: High Voltage Batteries not allowed??

Hi, You are probably referring to my race in Oakdale. You are correct there is nothing in the NMPRA rules against and that is why I am publishing a rules deviation in the flyer. My reasoning for doing this was to keep what was our biggest growing class from turning into a battery race. Totally a sub...

Oakdale 2 pole and EF1/Q500 3 pole results...Next race 2 pole Morgan Hill Sat. Oct. 1st

Beautiful and fun weekend in Oakdale. Normal gorgeous sunrises and sunsets and cool red moon rising over Sierra's (unfortunately due to some very uncool fires in the state). Fun time at Firenzes' restaurant in Oakdale Saturday night and RV camping at the field Friday and Saturday night. Tony McDonal...

Re: Latest and greatest timing and deck height?

I tend to not peak on the line, I am more of set based on last needle and lean out a little if plug looks I can and not sure what it peaked at last time I bench run.....so can't really say what peak on the ground. That initial peak on startup is not me peaking. This engine has a tendency to want to ...
