3.51lbs is a nice weight to be sure. Will have to try it on a spare Proudbird after I strip it and sand it down a little to see what the weight gains are.

Am pretty sure that as long as you use the manufacturers parts you can indeed replace the shaft and/or bearings. Problem is that some of the manufacturers (GreatPlanes/Rimfire and Brodak) don't make these parts available. If you bend a shaft or have a bearing go bad then it can't be used for EF1 rac...

Of the ARF's I like the Proud Bird. Builds light and flies well. Don't pull too much elevator going around a pylon - the snap is wicked... With that admonishment it's otherwise a solid competitor.
