I was under the impression that the racing rules said for a single servo on a single surface ( like elevator, rudder) you were supposed to use servos with 4 mounting screws, not two. In the case of redundant surfaces or servos, two screw servos were ok.
Are the EF1 rules different with that regard?

Mine didn't fit so well either. I had to shorten the "hook" part of the little ply tabs at the rear, so you don't have to slide the canopy so far forward to unhook it. I've been using the Castle Creations Ice Lite 75's in my EF1. I think now they have the "edge lite" 75 to replace the ICE series.

I'm putting one together now (a Shoestring) and used A7020 thin digital wing servos (Spektrum) for the ailerons, and A5030 mini-digitals for the rudder / elevator.
