Guess I'm all the way out of F5D (F3E) now. Was going to shoot down to OJA to try out for the team, but it's the same weekend as the Mike Tallman. I'm all-in on Q40 and can't miss that one, so I sold my last F5D plane. But I have this Rook F5D-type plane I'll be building to fly for sport and pylon practice. Starting out with hooking up the ailerons with Graupner DES47s...

Nice airplane Tim! My dad has a F3E airplane stashed away in our basement that I was planning to sport fly or try out for the team with once. It’s a Clash by ICARE.

That'll be a fun airplane Leo. You can get the speed of a Q40 and the mental workout it takes, but in a quiet package you can fly in more places.

Nice to see more youth building in this hobby. I loved my Quik-V7 kit, and I'm sure you and Annabelle are having a great time. Next step is just to get her racing!

Well Tim we we're at the flying field and we have a short safety fence about 3 feet tall and she tried to jump over it, just being a kid. She caught her foot and fell, She put her hands down to break her fall and broke her arm. She goes for more X-rays tommorow and will probably be in the cast for 4 more weeks

Okay, what the heck is a "blind spell?" Just as it sounds? A magic spell to make him go "blind." Too funny!
