There is a pineapple, a candle, and a flashlight on your workbench...but why is your workbench in the middle of your kitchen?
I was thinking it must be pretty sweet for him to have a kitchen in his workshop!

Well the weather was finally good enough and work had slowed down enough for me to get a couple planes painted for a couple guys.

Wow! Fantastic paint jobs! What paint is on that violet thing? I'd like to see that one on the air. Cool color!

My new RB51"Red Baron" Q40 design has been approved by both AMA and F3T, hoping to have it flying sometime in June.

Tim, the pink/purple plane is shot with House of Kolor paint. The base has a lot of pearl in it so it looks really good in the sun.

Rocket, the pink/purple plane is a "fat" wing Too Sweet. The orange/black one is a Lyle Vendetta, it's got his usual center hinged rudder.

Finally worked on one for myself. It's my first attempt at an "elaborate" scheme, thanks to Jim Allen for drawing up the paint masks. It was also my first attempt at "ghosting" my numbers and MFL on the nose, seemed to work ok (see picture 4 & 5). Also added some pearl to the white (pic #6, might have to zoom in).

I should have known better; went with chrome trim on another all-wood Quik-V (Manzano Laser Works fuse, my own laser-cut wing). But during first flights I was either blinded by the reflection or lost the plane all together, so today I removed the chrome and replaced it with dark red. That should be a lot better!

So wear prescription Ray Bans and let the chrome blind the competition.

So after a long winter and early spring it's time to race. With help from dad and wheeling and dealing with Dean this is what we have for this race season, thanks for the help with planes and paint. Annabelle's quickie is just waiting to be cleared and for her to be ready for it.
