Oct 26th & 27th with Friday the 25th as practice day, we will hold our 3nd annual Dave Gavin Memorial Pylon Race at Whittier Narrows Park, hosted by the San Gabriel Valley RC League.

Classes offered:
424 Saturday only

426 & 422 Will consist of one, two-day contest, total entries combined for both classes will be limited to 80 entries
We will run one round of 424 followed by one round of 426 on the short course then one round of 422 on the long course.

Anticipating a full event entry forms must be complete with payment and teammates indicated! Payment will reserve your slot in the TOTAL field of 80 entries.

NOTE: The first entry form indicating 3 to a team will be logged and any additional entries indicating the same team members already on a 3-person team will be placed on the matrix as “orphans” so contact your teammates before sending in your forms!

We need to have ALL your information no later than Friday October the 18th, since the matrix for each class will be built on Saturday, October 19th.

NOTE: “rule deviation” In the event a pilot receives a turn light and a cut light during the same lap, the cut light will prevail and a re-fly will not be granted.

We’ve lost many trees in the pit area due to disease so make sure you bring your shade pop-up!!

No FAA Number on your Aircraft = No Flying!

We have already received 10 entries with payments, please send in your entries ASAP to avoid being on a potential waiting list!

Last year we were able to include every entry by expanding to our max number to 80 entries, we're hoping for the same this year.

Please note to help bolster the 424 class walk ups will be accepted early Saturday! 424 class only!

The only way we can start early Saturday is to have the matrix completed before Friday.

As this one of the last races this year, please support the Telford Scholarship fund. Mario will have plenty of tickets for sale. If he runs out arrange with Him and I will mail direct to you. There are many great prises.The best prize is making a significant donation this year to AMA. This is an effort only NMPRA, as an AMA SIG, does. Be a proud member and know that we will touch other young and deserving lives through this effort.

Here is the current Pilot list for matrix building, there are two team/groups that need to work out their team count, per the rules teams can only have a maximum of 3! we currently have groups of 4 and 5 and I'm expecting one of those groups to grow if mail numbers catch up with text pledges?
