The Vortex Challenge!

Post by Kurt Bozarth »

I have #154 still alive and kickin’. Chuck shipped it to me on 9/26/06 (Chuck’s b-day is 9/26). Anything out there older?

Not a Vortex, but the NeneQ I flew at the 2018 Nats first flew at the Winterfest in January 2005. It’s still sitting on my wall ready to go.

Not sure of the number, but it has to be either 2007 or 2008 vintage.. I know there is a Neme Q older than yours Gary, just sold #33 that was from around 2000..

I finally killed #187 last weekend, after many years and at least one rebuild. I think it was originally flown by Randy Bridge, because it said "Smoke" on the side.

Well, now it's smoked!
