Re: 2020 AMA Pylon Nationals - Muncie, IN
Once again this year, the big tent will be at the Nats. The tent will be in the same place, over the blacktop.
The attached picture represents the tent layout for 2020.
B1-B9 is for Dub Jett
C1-C9 is for Mike Langlois
Each spot represents a 10x10 space. First to respond gets the spot.
NOTE: A minimum cost of $20 ($10 per person or if a single $20) per 10 X 10 spot is required. This payment needs to given to me on site.
Pop up land will be open to all to install their own tents as it has in the past. With the exception of where Tom Scott and Randy Smith normally sit. Tom and Randy occupy the first spots closest to the secondary road that leads to the Porta-Johns and gravel parking lot. Both are in the front, this area will be marked Thursday morning and any spots cannot be taken until I mark Tom's and Randy's spots.

Re: 2020 AMA Pylon Nationals - Muncie, IN
The AMA is working on finalizing the Entry form for the 2020 Nationals. When it is complete and they open registration, I will post the link to the online page. Registrations will also, as normal, be taken over the phone.
New this year is that any person that is registering for the first time will have the AMA $50 Basic fee waived.
If you have any questions, feel free to call Yolanda at AMA Headquarters.

REGISTRATION IS NOW OPEN!!!!
Re: 2020 AMA Pylon Nationals - Muncie, IN
All,
I hope everyone is healthy and safe. With all that is currently going on with Covid19, I hope everyone is following their local guidelines to help stop the spread.
This pandemic has already had big impacts on our hobby. First and foremost, the health and safety of everyone involved is the primary concern and we will abide by any local, state or federal orders. So, at this point in time, the AMA is continuing to work toward hosting the 2020 Pylon Nationals in July. Mike and I have also continued to plan for the event. It is important, now more than ever, for us to show our excitement and support for the Nat's. Please take some time to make your plans now to come spend time seeing friends and enjoying the best racing of the year. Posts above will have all the information about registering online.
We all need to see that this gloomy time will pass and we need to keep our heads up and plan for a great future. The 2020 Pylon Nationals is going to be a great kickstart to getting back on our feet!!!

Re: 2020 AMA Pylon Nationals - Muncie, IN
Sorry,,, was implying,, if we are able to have a Nat's Race this year, the attendance will/should be HUGE,,,,, so our usual one Large Tent will most likely be insufficient to get everyone out of the Sun and Thunderstorms!!

All,
In light of the current situation, we have decided to not have the banquet at this year's Nationals. Anyone that has already paid for the banquet will have their money refunded by the AMA.
Please let me know if you have any questions.

REGISTER NOW!!!!!!!!
The Country is moving towards opening further and further. If things keep moving in the right direction, I am positive the 2020 Nationals are going to move forward and be the best thing we have all done this year.
I would like to see everyone register now so we can show the AMA that the Pylon community supports their efforts.

Re: 2020 AMA Pylon Nationals - Muncie, IN
If Moonshot has over 40 entries, it means we are ready to race! We have fewer than 20 entered so far for Nationals. I know there is uncertainty, but having a full slate of entries may help the AMA to make their go/nogo decision!
REGISTER NOW! We miss racing!
