Here's the old school Loki that Lonnie painted for me - well, painted after he did the final building, etc...
It's not a bad looking design!
It's in my shop now, gradually working on radio install, etc.

I love the LOKI. i only flew a few Q40s back in the late 90s,early 2000s and the loki was by far my favorite!
Re: What'cha workin' on?
Tom, will you please PM me your address? With your permission, I'd like to send Annabelle one of my all-wood, built-up Quik-V wing kits. I just got done cutting and packing a few (a couple for a customer) and I've had the idea to send her/you one for a while, and now seems like a good time.T.Doe wrote: ↑Mon Oct 19, 2020 8:08 pm Well Tim we we're at the flying field and we have a short safety fence about 3 feet tall and she tried to jump over it, just being a kid. She caught her foot and fell, She put her hands down to break her fall and broke her arm. She goes for more X-rays tommorow and will probably be in the cast for 4 more weeks
Would be a great winter building project if you're interested.
Let me know if you want a single servo version (with torque rods) or a dual-servo version.
Tim

Re: What'cha workin' on?
Just finished an All Balsa 424,,,, Allen QV-7 Fuse and Lampe wing,, it looks pretty good,, however,,, the Maiden flight will determine if Tail Feathers incidence is anywhere close to that of the wing
So,, I'm cleaning up the Hobby Room and "M" walks in with this, and a BIG smile on her face,,
I was officially impressed with Laser cutting technology at the Wing and Fuse level,,,, I'll let ya know
OBTW,,, Scotty Loves Clocks

Got a CMAD Small Wonder going. Seems light, and really nice glass work. I'll have the engine mounted tomorrow.
