Hi Ray. The blue tape is Velcro. That's where I put my receiver pack.

Uh, so I can stick the battery to it???

All my planes seem to need nose weight, so that's how I usually mount the battery. Er, um, with the battery mounted up front there my planes balance without additional ballast.

My bad, I didn’t see the “pack” part. You’re off the hook.
See you soon.

Tim, did you see the post a while back where I attached balsa to the Jett tank and mounted the battery to the balsa in front of the tank, Then, slipped the whole assembly into the nose.
And I said, here am I send me.

Some progress on a new test stand. I have another plate with the same mounting bolt pattern I can put on for other engines also, has an adjustable mount.

Now to sort out some way of ensuring it stays put and doesn't slide forward or tip over

Well Annabelle got to go with her grandfather this afternoon and fly indoor and had a blast. This evening we got back on her wing and made some more progress.

Well it's been a few days now, Annabelle and I got back in the garage for a little while this evening and knocked out a little more on her wing.
