Actually,,,, I just heard from Boeing, and these suction devices are used on the Glass Screen of the GPS to identify the starting and ending points for the proposed route of flight!!!

And,,, And,,,, they single handedly are responsible for their recent re-certification!

they are sold as Vacuum fittings.
They come in several sizes.
