OK Tangerine 2021 is in the books!!! :-?

The RCACF club president Mr. Bill Hidgon, "Snatched Victory from the jaws of Defeat" and ensured the Tangerine legacy lives on!!!!!
High Marks Bill ~ Thank You and please know,,, Your support is greatly appreciated!!!!!!!

Father and Son not only pulled off another great race but also sign corporate papers transferring SEMPRA to The Freemans !!! :-? :D

My Sweetheart, Cardiologist and Primary physician are eternally great full to these guys,,,, Thank You gentlemen!!!! :D

While everyone is now turning their attention and packing for Phoenix, some great weather and the "Mexican food".,,, :)

Don't forget to Add Tavares Invitational to your race plans,,, March 19 & 20,,, first weekend after Daylight Savings reinstates!!! :P :D

Flyer and hotel information will be published soon. Plan on 426 & 422 and EF1/424/both? depending on pilot sign-ups,,, :P

Tavares has a couple nice hotels and a bunch of the ones we stayed in when we were kids with limited budgets   :o  :D
You know the kind,,, where you park at the door and the AC is in the wall on the floor

There is a camp ground , Fisherman's Cove (352-343-1233) right around the block from the field or you can dry camp at Scotty's !!!!!

The LARKS Field is on county property, No Alcohol Permitted, so plan on heading straight to your favorite watering hole as opposed to lounging at the field after the days racing and missing Sunday's racing  8) :o

Looking forward to seeing everyone real soon!!! :D :D

Again,,, the invitational is March 18 thru 20, first weekend after Daylight Savings Time!!!! :o :o

I can't put the Invitational on the Calendar until we get a Flyer,,,  :D

Our CD, Greg Cardillo, is responsible for the flyer!!!!! Greg is very anxious to support the Electric Quicky concept announced at Tangerine!! :P :P

I gave him a couple Monokote airframes and he is busy preparing :P :D Greg is also in contact with Danny about specifications,,, so he can include any rules variance announcements so he and other club members can participate as well!!!!

So we should have a Flyer and be on the calendar soon!!!

Merry Christmas  :D

See the Electric 424 Q500 thread viewtopic.php?f=1&t=6761 for info and link to rules... We plan to fly mixed 424 (glow and electric in same matrix) as well as EF1 (on 424 course but separate matrix) at Tavares.
New since our last race, we have 800AH charging station maintained by solar panels - bring you DC chargers and we'll provide the electrons...
Questions/comments welcome...
Greg
