The new EL LS Q40 - April Fools. It was a joke.

Post by Kurt Bozarth »

“Does anyone know when the EL (Extra Long) LS Q40 will be available?”

This was an April Fools joke. It was a joke. A joke. Fake. Not true. The EL is a figment of the imagination of Hank. But maybe the Extra Extra Long LS is in the works…who knows.

I can't wait! Between the new engines and new props, times are going to drop just enough to force everybody to buy the new equipment in order to stay competitive! It will be awesome for the sport!

I hear that you really need to shim those differently, otherwise they just keep blowing glow plugs.

They only wanted matrix fillers to test it out first. The fast ones are scheduled to receive theirs April 15th. :P

The 55 second motor wasn’t the new ELS, it was a highly modified Schmidt motor. It went west where they don’t care you grind on them. It’s probably where the ELS came from. Any horsepower freak know the more dwell the better. Talking ——————hey into making the con rod was the hard part.
And I said, here am I send me.

Interesting. It was only a 57 second engine at best when I raced it in stock form. Whoever "highly modified" it into a 55 second motor slowed it down since the 55 second time was for nine laps!
