Teaming for Nats 2022

Post by ceandra »

Nats Participants:

I will be working the matrix generation for all the three-pole racing at the Nats this year. This includes 424, EF1, 426, and Q40. It is time to start indicating teams. You may reply to this posting, or email me at ceandra (at) comcast (dot) net (preferred). Please keep the following in mind:
  • Teams are limited to three members
  • Please communicate with your team members before putting in your request, so we do not have multiply linked teams. I am not responsible for resolving oversize teams.
  • If teams are not resolved to 3 members, I will place any three together, and the remaining will be orphans
  • Deadline of July 15, 5pm EDT, for requesting teams. After that, orphans are orphans.
  • Please be sure your teammates are registered. Only registered entries will be placed on teams. Non-registered requests will be removed from teams when I start getting registration updates from AMA
  • If you do not submit a name for your team, you are at risk of earning a name at my whim (Right, "Crash") . Or maybe just a number. Keep it clean.
  • For 424, please indicate if you are "Expert". Currently that means if you enter 422, or self-declare, or were expert at prior Nats events. Breakout time will advance you too. If you do not declare, then you will be placed in "expert"
  • Please include AMA numbers, first and last name for each team member
  • This is NOT an entry list. This is teaming that has been requested. Confirmation of Nats Entry can be found at https://www.modelaircraft.org/nats-sear ... &year=2022 ).
I will update and post a list periodically. Be patient!

Here is the first draft of input on teaming.
If a person is marked as "N" in the "entered" column, then AMA does not have a record of that person entering the event. Please square this up with Yolanda at AMA. I made estimates in most cases, based on prior years, as to whether the EF1 or 424 pilots are Expert (E in Type column) or Novice (N). Please verify.

I hate when I am wrong. Glad it rarely happens! Original post is corrected.

Looking at the event listings for this year (that link), I sure am looking forward to "428 EF-1". That should get those little puppies moving!
