Awesome Scotty, thanks for the info.

How are things coming along with the takeoff pad and also the ability to turn the course around if needed?

As we discussed earlier, to rotate the course we loose the use of the pavilion and Lake County's approved parking area! As you recall our first race we rotated the course, had to park all along the North road, just did not work!

No activity on the take off ramp! Need volunteer's, are you available????

I got estimates for something permanent right after last race,,, 9 to 7 thousand :-) Cement, Blacktop and Millings & Seal Coat!

So we are going to build another take off ramp! This one 8 X 20! Something to just place over launch pad, prolly a Masonite top surface over plywood!

Can anyone think of a workable combination of materials????

Any-All help/suggestions graciously accepted, considered and appreciated :) :D

I think what you have planned for the takeoff pad will be fine for a weekend of racing, similar set-up as used at various WC outside the US.

I think most anyone trying out would be ok with no having the pavilion and using tents if it meant we could turn the course and take off into the wind if needed. If it can't be done so be it.

I can help with the pad any Friday before the TT.

Thank you

Scott,

What limiters will be used at the team trials? I am sure you are aware of the issues with the limiters at the WC. I am not sure if it got resolved, but some of us will be using hacker speed controls and they will not work with the limiters used at the WC. Hopefully this got resolved, but wanted to make sure.

Thank you

Scotty,

Please remind me if there is power at the site. If so, I will bring extension cords to get it to my pit.

Scott,

Might have missed the post above, but what will you be doing for limiters for F3E?

Also, the AMA flyer said $75 to the host club may want to have them update if you are changing to $150.

That is back to my original question about these, they did not work at the worlds with some brands of ESC and they had to work around that. Is that your plan for the trials also? Maybe they fixed the issue? Not sure just want to understand the plan before we get there.

Thank you
