Re: NELSON Q-40 AVAILABILITY
Lee, the racing community thanks you for all the time devoted to help keep racing going forward. Merry Christmas and Happy New Year
Re: NELSON Q-40 AVAILABILITY
At the Champ Race this year, I was lucky to have enough time and be invited to visit where our engines are made. I was in shock at the amount of work that goes into cleaning up the case, chroming the sleeve, honing and fitting a piston to the sleeve, find the proper fitting head, putting those silly e-clips in for the rod(none of which I'm capable of doing right). I was adding up all the time while I watched and even if I was properly trained, I doing think I could get it under 6 hours per engine. I would like say thanks to Lee for all his time that he chooses to donate so it's remotely affordable for us to race. Mike Langlois and family deserve a big thanks also for all they put in over the years also to get where we are today.
