Hi,
Have a friend putting together a Prather Toni with a ST X40...he has a line on some Rev Up 8.75 x 7.5 narrow props. Would these be a decent match for plane/engine. Just flying for fun, so doesn't need to be optimal.
Thanks,
Joe.

Re: Props for ST X40
The propeller for the X-40 depends on the engine itself. If the X-40 is a Prather or Performance Specialties X-40 then the
Rev-Up 8-3/4 X 7-1/2 series 400B or 400C cut down to 8-1/4” to 8-3/8” in length would be a good start. Peak ground RPM should be 21,500 to 22,500 using 60% nitro fuel.
If the X-40 is a stock un-modified X-40 then a good start would be a Rev-Up 8-3/4 X 7 or a 9X7 series 400B or 400C cut down to 8-1/4”.
I’m going to guess that your friend doesn’t have any of these on hand. Please give me his address and I will send him some.
