Thank you
Thank you
All,
I have decided to step down as President of the NMPRA at the end of the year. My personal and work commitments are making it harder to commit the even reduced time I have been giving to the position. As we continue to come out of the Covid era, the pylon community needs to have someone who can lead/drive the NMPRA to new heights.
I want to thank all of you for helping me these past 8 years. AND being patient with me. I could not have done this without many of you assisting me.
Moving forward I will be following the NMPRA Bylaws to work through the process to elect a new President. I will start a new topic post with information about this process.
Again, thank you all.
Trey

Re: Thank you
Trey, as a past president I know what a great job you have done as president, but to do it for 8 years is above the call of duty. Hopefully, someone will step up to take over sooner rather than later.
Again, thanks for your dedication and service to all of us racers.

Re: Thank you
Thank you for all your time and efforts as the NMPRA president Trey. You've definitely put racing in a better state than when you took over. People like you keep the pulse of racing alive and well.

Thank you for giving us so many hours of dedication to serve us.
The good thing is you still be hanging out around us, and being part of the story.

Trey,
Thanks very much for all of your efforts and leadership for the last 8 years. Time flies and we all appreciate you taking on the job and doing it so long. As the Contest Board Chair for Pylon, it's been great working with you. See you at the races again soon.

Re: Thank you
I believe you have been the President almost the entire time I've been a member of NMPRA. I wondered out load at this years NAT's if there was a special punishment that you were given to be President for so long?
In my eyes you have endured more slings and arrows than anyone should have to.
I appreciate your handling of even the most temperamental racers when they didn't get there way!
Rest easy as a NMPRA president emeritus. There will always be a beer in the cooler for you when you stop by my pits.
Now we have some big shoes are waiting to be filled!.

Trey,
Thank you! Crazy how something so simple can be so complicated, time consuming, painful, joyful and fun all at the same time. Wishing you all the best! And look forward to seeing you at the races.

Trey,
EIGHT YEARS??!!?? I always thought the bylaws made you eligible for parole after 5 years, but that would've been during the pandemic so apparently we lost track. Anyway, thanks for getting us through that and all the other tribulations that have cropped up recently. We're blessed to have had such a steady hand on the tiller.
Cheers,
