AMA 426 Q500 - Entry Fee $45 - Saturday Only (AMA Short Course)
AMA 420 (formerly EF1) - Entry Fee $35 - Saturday Only (AMA 420 375.5' Course) AMA 424 and 424 Electric* - Entry Fee $35 - Sunday Only (AMA Short Course) AMA 422 Q40 - Entry Fee $45 - Sunday Only (AMA Long Course)
15% Nitro Fuel Will Be supplied
Props for 420 and 424 (and 424 Electric) will be supplied
Field Will Be Open For Practice On Friday August 18, 2023

Friday Practice-No engines before 08:00 Please, observe safe practices! Be courteous Saturday and Sunday-Registration ends at 07:15 Sharp. If you are running late, call CD Pilot meeting will be at 08:15, first heat at 08:30
*NEW-Electric 424 will be run with glow 424. Rules at:

Pilots, you are the key to getting in as many rounds as possible, please be ready! Lunch will be as close to 12 noon as possible, depends on round break. P.L.A.T.E. (Pylon Light And Timing Equipment) will be used at all CAPS races.

Big thanks to Tom Melshimer for CD at this years event. Boy Scouts provided the track workers as well as the Lunch Trailer. At this years event Carolyn Martin was there to preside over the race and I sincerely appreciate that she made the effort to attend since she is now a Texan. The Plate system worked great and Tom was kind enough to explain things to clear up any misunderstandings and explain how the system worked. In addition we had 5 new faces in 424 today and they are a great addition to the matrix, I think everyone had fun.
The Kanes hosted a lovely friday evening dinner at their trailer. DK and Cathy are always a class act!
Great to see Bob Troop up and about since his recent health event at the NAT's
Windy on Friday afternoon for practice and cool on Saturday there was enough cloud cover on the sun to avoid looking directly into the sun on both days and loose track of your plane due to "sunspots" (well most of us anyway) Sunday got very Humid and we were done with 5 Rounds in 424 and Q40 including a awards by 1445!
