Does anyone have some 65% nitro fuel I could purchase? Trying to fly an F1 at the event. Have an order with Randy Ritch for a couple gallons, but not sure it will make it in time.

I have a gallon of nitro if you want to mix a quart. Shouldn't be to hard to convert some 15% to 65%.

Half a quart of nitro, 2.8 oz of castor and the rest nmpra 15% fuel.
Can someone check the numbers.
And I said, here am I send me.

Got the castor and my trusty shot glass. You the man Ray Brown. I got a whole array of Brian Richmond whittled speed to try!

Regarding castor and High Nitro, not sure the two stay in suspension. I vaguely remember, the castor would separate, you could shake them to get them to mix, but if sitting, it would look like oil and water in a glass. Maybe check with Randy, Dub or Henry to make sure.

I did not run caster in my F1 fuel. Like Dan says it does not like to mix with the Nitro. We always used 18% synthetic oil in the 65%.

One gallon of F-1 fuel consisting of:
83 oz. nitromethane
23 oz. Klotz KL-200 racing oil
17 oz. methanol
5 oz. propylene oxide

Note: 22 oz. methanol if not using propylene oxide
Note: propylene oxide should be added less than an hour before
a contest. After it it is added keep the lid on the container
and keep the container in a cooler in the shade.
Note: only a few used propylene oxide

This is what worked for me. Von Der Hey

The Klotz Original Technoplate is KL-200. That is the one you want to use.

Sorry to interrupt the takeover of my thread....,but please review and let me know of any changes (list is same for both classes with the exception of Lee Ulinger who is only flying 422). "CLICK ON IMAGE TO ENLARGE"

Also, Lee Ulinger has moved to FL and will be racing Q40 with us. He is looking for a caller, please let me know if any of the 2 man teams would like to help him out and add him to your team.

Looking forward to seeing you all.

Anyone camping, you can not set-up in the pits until end of day on Thursday. The field is still open to sport flyers until they are done for the day.

Thank you
