9x6E Prop for EF1 and 424E

Post by N45H »

The orange version of the 9x6E is now available on the APC website.

https://www.apcprop.com/product/o9x6e/

The orange 9x6E will be the only legal version for competition.
Both the grey and orange versions are made using the same tooling and same material. Only the color is different.

Please let me know if you have any questions.

Thank you,
Robert

Robert,

Thank you for your continuing support for our community. And it really helps that you actively participate, so you know what's going on. I know that not all of our suppliers are able to do that, but to the extent you can, it benefits everyone.

Cheers,

Will I be able to use my grey props until my supply is exhausted other wise it will be in the stack of obsolete 8x8 props. I bet I have $50 bucks worth of "Useless props"

Tim, The 8/8 props are out this year, unless someone makes an emergency rules proposal to allow the 8/8's with the 9/6's. What's the problem with having two approved props? This is what should have happened last year, but just like the "battery" proposal it was shoved down our throats! If the 9/6 is such a wonderful prop, what is the resistance to allowing those of us who want to use up the 8/8's that we already have?

The problem is that they are not equal. Therefore, only the 9x6. This was not shoved down anyone's throat. We tested this for 1 year here in the midwest. In addition this is now a common prop for 424E and EF-1.

Merry Christmas,

DK

Sparky, APC has been a huge supporter of our events. So much so they have given away more props than most of us have purchased. 9x6E is now common between EF-1 and 424E. Since you fly both you will only need one style in your box. If you truly have $50 worth of props you purchased, I will help you recover your investment, call me.

Merry Christmas,

anyone want to buy a handful of out of package 8x8 props?

I have a batch for local races that haven't been used up, not sure what I'll do with them now. Not sure how many I have, but it's quite a few.
Out of all the places we could be, this is one of them.

Greg,

Those 8 x 8s aren't necessarily worthless. They seem to be pretty good for the E-Q15 airplanes I'm fooling with right now, so stay tuned ... oh, and merry Christmas! I think I see some fuel jugs under the tree!

Well that's the answer EQ15. We'll just revive that event, in electric form, to dispose of the props that were made obsolete unecessarly in another event!
