Pilots,
It’s time to get ready for the April 13/14 Whittier Pylon race, Saturday we’ll race 424/426/422 events, Sunday we’ll be EF1/ 426/422 come and experience the weather where all the records are set!
If you have an electric 424 come and race!

Everyone should remember that there was a new EF-1 prop rule for 2024. I believe the new prop is the APC 9x6E and it is dyed orange.

Saturday Results:

We were fortunate to not get any rain during the event, and completed 4 rounds and two flyoffs. This was a really tough matrix!

In 424 Jim Allen competed with an electric setup as a demo, so took last place in each heat.

Sunday Results.

Unfortunately, the rain did hit after a nice morning. At lunchtime, right at the end of round 3 of 426, the rain hit. The radar indicated perhaps 1/2 hour and then clear, so we took lunch. However, the band of rain kept swirling to the south and did not stop. It did stop for about 40 minutes after awards to allow us to clean up, then it hit hard again.

We got in 3 rounds of EF1 and 426, and only 2 of 422 before the rain, and distributed trophies on time without flyoffs.
