No Q-40 Race in Bowie until later in the year

Post by Sbaker »

Our club intends to host races, however, May 4 and 5 are simply too soon to make it happen by then. On the positive side, our Board of Directors have approved of purchasing a light system, as opposed to merely renting one for the weekend, meaning we will be putting on more races down the road. I apologize for backing away from filling the date made available by the Langlois' retreat from their event. I ask everyone to find some solace knowing that PGRC intends to come back into the fold and put on some great races. Next, I will be consulting with Mike Helsel to pick a date in the fall for our first Q40 race since the 1990's.

Stephen!
Best news ever. There's always a hope for the east coast. You guys are making it happen again. After twenty years, I am looking for to go back to Bowie. Thanks.
