An Interview with Mark Ackerman of HobbyExpress.com and Carolina Custom Kits

Post by DonStegall »

Mark Ackerman of Carolina Custom Kits visited me this week to go over our plans for the Estrellita EF1 and Shark EF1 laser cut kits and the molds I'm making for the fiberglass parts for those planes.

Mark purchased the rights to the Telemaster line of kits sometime over a year ago and sells them through http://HobbyExpress.com.

Carolina Custom Kits does the laser cutting for the Vortex kits. They do fine work. As good as any I have seen.

We will be getting parts cut for both EF1 kits and for parts for molded composite Q40 and Q500 planes we are doing.

I promote the NMPRA in this video as I do whenever possible. Please welcome potential newcomers to racing or just sport flying Quickies and EF1 planes.

Unboxing and Introduction

with Mark Ackerman of
http://HobbyExpress.com & http://CarolinaCustomKits.com

In this interview with Mark, we talk about the HobbyExpress.com line of kits including the Telemaster laser cut kits and Mark's attention to detail that makes the kits so nice.

We also talk about the http://Club40Racer.com laser cut kit from http://StegallHobbies.com and potential future offerings of Quickie 500 kits.

It was great meeting Mark in person and now I have a face to go with the voice I have been talking to for a couple of years for our Club 40 and EF1 laser cut sport and pylon racing planes.
