Strega Servo Locations

I recently completed the radio installations on a pair of Harold Stregas. I have both the 1 3/4" and the 2" spinner versions.

The version with the 2" spinner requires a forward servo location. The picture shows the servo tray located immediately behind the CG tank. A 700 mAH life battery is located below the servos and the receiver is located behind the wing.

The version with the 1 3/4" spinner has a longer nose and requires a rearward servo installation. The picture shows the servo tray located further back than the other model. The receiver is located under the servos and the 700 mAH life battery is located behind the wing.

Both installations balance approximately 85 mm back from the leading edge of the wing when powering with a Nelson engine.

A Jett engine is lighter than the Nelson and will require more a more forward radio installation.
