We had a great day of racing on Sunday. Unfortunately the rain kept us from flying on Saturday.

Thanks to Robert and the Woodland/Davis Club for putting on this EF-1 race.
It was good to return to racing again, I pick-up were I left-off, by cutting all the time....Geez!
Any way good to be back at it

Hugh thanks to Robert Holik, the Woodland/Davis Aeromodelers and of course Annie for all the effort they put in to make this past weekends race a great fun success. Go figure California is the middle of this big time drought and it rains the one Saturday we wanted to see the typical blue skies. Sunday sure made up for Saturdays rainout with some California sunshine and light winds. For the second year in a row this event continues to attach new participation to 3-pole NMPRA pylon racing. Of the 14 racers in EF-1, two were new to 3-pole pylon racing and one a returning 3-pole veteran from back in the 90's (I believe). So welcome back Jeff Carpenter and welcome to the newbies Ben Ponzo and Tim Cassidy. Congratulations to all the winners and thanks again Robert. Some pits and racing pictures attached.

Congrats to the Robert and the entire crew. Even though Saturday was a washout, it looks like you had more than enough fun on Sunday.

Very nice to see new/old faces racing again! Tom thank you for the pictures.

I just looked at the results in EF1. There were many names and faces that I have not seen before.

It looks to me that EF1 is doing what I hoped that it would. Bring new racers to the game!

I hope it happens all over the country!
