POGO wing tip extensions

Post by kane »

To All:

I just wanted to remind you that the POGO (http://www.horizonhobby.com/products/lr ... 5e-EFL4200) as sold today and previously, is short on wing area per the NMPRA rules. We allowed these airplanes to fly without penalty in 2012. However moving forward into 2013, if you plan to fly a POGO in an NMPRA event we would like to recommend that you update your model to meet the 375 sq inch rule.

Jerry Small worked closely with Keith Sparks to develop a solution that will get you the required area. These tips can be permanently installed or can be simply taped in place. Once these new tips are added if your total span exceeds 50.25" you will be good on wing area. Although it would be wise to check your model to be sure.

Here is a link for Keith's website: http://parkflyerplastics.com/cart/index ... cts_id=594

Let me know if you have any questions,

Dan Kane
