Jeff,

Did you use spacers to space your motor forward?

Mine didn't fit so well either. I had to shorten the "hook" part of the little ply tabs at the rear, so you don't have to slide the canopy so far forward to unhook it. Also I gently pried the canopy loose from the front former, trimmed the lite ply canopy floor sides where they were wider than the former, and re-glued the canopy to the former & sides.

The cowling did fit, but it was snug. i also have to sort of squeeze in on the sides of it at the rear to get the canopy to slide under it.

And by all means - use the spacers that come with the kit - the short ones with the power 25 motor - and don't leave a lot of gap between the spinner and the cowling.
Out of all the places we could be, this is one of them.
