I have a E-Flite 60amp Pro switch-mode BEC ESC controller, I have to manually program it. What is the going settings for when racing with a arrowind motor?
1. Voltage cut-off......default is 74%
2.Brake type......default is Brake-off
3.Timing.......default is 15 degrees.
4.Throttle input range....default is 1.2ms to 1.8ms works for most radios
5 start-up rate.....default setting is 0.25 seconds
6. PWM switching frequency..........defaults is 8KHz most motors
7 Operating Mode........defaults setting to normal airplane, limited to a start-up rate of 0.25 or 1 second.
I'm totally at a lost on how to do this

All of those should be good.

I use 20 deg timing, but you could try both and see if you get an RPM increase, we racers aren't interested in being the most efficient, just the fastest

PWM is not important, it's switched out at full throttle, and only makes for smooth response for the 3D and heli guys :!:

the other settings are for personal preference or can be tweaked using the radio settings.

I'm trying to figure out how to..... throttle stick here, throttle stick there, move stick when, during all these beeps and sounds that go off during this Programing sequences.

Sorry --- can't help you there.

I use the Castle 100 and it has a computer interface - which makes it easy.

I have also used the Hobby King Plush 80 that has a programming card that you can plug in and just push a couple of buttons to change settings. It's also very good price, and I can't see any difference in RPM, I just wanted the data logging.

see if someone locally seems to be a wizard at this, otherwise the defaults should be fine until you feel the need to try some different settings.
