Fresno Ef1 and Warbird Race Results...Oakdale date change

Hi everyone,

Great first race of the season.

36 entries which means we continue to grow.

EF1 started off very strong as our largest class!

More below but before that I want to make sure everyone knows that we have successfully moved the Oakdale date to avoid conflict with Ash Creek.

Oakdale is now May 31st and June 1st. May 31st will be our standard two pole racing with Ef1, T-34, .46 Mod and Unlimited. June 1st will be 3 pole Ef1 and slow q500 (424)

Now more on Fresno:
Great weather.
Bit of a late start due to field dedication and need to hold off on glow flying to comply with noise abatement.
This combined with a new class and 30% more entries than we had last year (good things) made for a fairly late finish (last heat 4:30 p.m., 46 heats flown).
At Morgan Hill, May 3rd, we will push to start along our earlier normal times and we are looking at some things to move faster through the heats.

Decision to go to a flying start with 6 laps for Ef1 seemed to work really well so we'll stay with that approach.
