34 entries on Saturday and 13 entries on Sunday.
The club did a great job of making some towering pylons to get the tops of the pylons high enough since the base of the pylon needed to be in a low spot in the terrain.
Little warm but not crazy hot and never any crazy wind.
Once we got going, the workers did great and the event ran smooth, even on Sunday when working out some kinks with my home made light system.
Funny moment after the first heat when there were no lights and I thought, "uh oh, lights aren't working already", radioed pylon 1 and they said they were waiting for me to declare race had started which I do in 2 pole since its a flying start. Didn't think to let workers know that 3 pole is a ground start and once planes are in the air, the race has started.
Thanks to the club in general and to Dan Peterson the CD in particular who made this come together.
Watching the sunset (see picture below) and camping overnight at this beautiful site overlooking Woodward reservoir rejuvenated Sandra and I Saturday night.
The pilots were great and there was a lot of close racing as the points show.
So here are the results with full results and season point totals for Triangle Series attached.
Next two pole race is Salinas on August 9th.
