The AMA Competition committee has processed three rule change proposals as Urgent per the AMA guidelines. The changes proposed by these proposals have now been added to the current 2022-2023 Pylon rule-book.
Two(2) of these proposals are related to class 421(EF1).
1 - To change the weight of the battery to 365g and require a balance plug.
2 - Change the minimum wheel size to 2.125"(54mm) as new and allow a worn wheel to measure 2"(51mm)

As these changes are now official, they will be enforceable at the 2023 Pylon Nationals.

I think the class is 420 not 421 but we get the drift.....
