Matco dial indicator / depth gauge

I've got here a new Matco dial indicator for use with a base for measuring depth. Similar to gauges used in the Darrol Cady depth mic, etc.

This one has a .0005" resolution, whereas most have .001 resolution. 1" travel. The mounting stem is 3/8", interchangeable with other similar gauges.

I bought two of these, and only used one. This one is brand new.

I do not have a measurement base for this dial indicator, but it can be swapped into one that you might already have, or you can shop ebay, etc. for depth bases. You can use this to replace a broken or damaged gauge, or to get one with the .0005" resolution in place of your current one, etc.
