25 days left until the late fees kick in. If you are planning on attending what are you waiting for? 31 entries at this point. Last year at this same point in time we had 48 entries.

Take the time to enter and bring a friend too!! I would love to see us reach 100 entries again this year. Last year we ended up with 120 entered in pylon.

I forwarded my entry form last week (for EF1, 426, 422). Don't know if my form has been received and processed yet.

Say Dan, what's the cutoff details for 426 and 422? I mean, how high up does one have to finish, how many rounds before and after the final cuts and when will the final rounds be flown (on the second say I presume)?

Thanks man!

You are listed as one of the 31 pilots that is registered.

Cut off details depends on the number of entries. In the past it has been the top 12 placers and the 2 fastest times not in the top 12. This is for both the A and B matrix. Then these 28 pilots compete in the finals. Number of rounds depends on weather. We always shoot for 6-8 rounds in qualifying and 5 rounds in the finals (due to the race horse starts which Mike has used the last couple of years). The finals will be flown on the second day.

...I think there's maybe a 10% chance I can make this years Nats... That said what time is EF1 processing? Need to know so I can fiddle with flight scheduling.

Thanks,

Chris

Chris:

Joe is right, after 424 flying, or perhaps overlapping with it. I would guess you can check in 3pm to 6pm or so (my guess, not official). However, if travel timing does not work, let the powers that be know your schedule, and they can inspect your plane when you arrive.

From my point of view (matrix builder), you must either check in Friday afternoon, or let the officials know of alternate plans. Failure to check in or make arrangements means I assume you are a no-show and you will not be in the matrix. In order to maximize competition rounds, we build the matrix Friday night. But, we do try to be flexible for known travel issues!

Chris,

As Chuck mentioned the most important aspect is that we know that you will be attending. Chuck is handling the Matrix and the deadline is usually around 1 week prior to the start of the NATS.

With regards to processing. It is not critical that you arrive at the scheduled time. We will accommodate processing right up to the point that the event begins. However, because of time commitments of volunteers and how that effects their preparation time, we would like to keep to the scheduled times. We always have some, due to travel arrangements, fall out side our scheduled times. We will make sure you are processed and set to go. You just need to let me know and I will communicate down the chain to all that need to know.

Having said that, don't let the processing time dictate your travel arrangements. Do your best to fit into our guidelines but if you can't just let me know and we will make sure you get processed when you are available.

Thanks all. It's just not going to work for me financially this year. Will try to budget for it for next year.

Dont forget that the deadline to sign up for the Nationals without a penalty is June 24th. And the drop dead date is July 1.

A few more have jumped over the fence and signed up.

OK Guys, HELP.....
I tried to call Yolanda and Colleen both Friday several times and could not get thru,
I have been trying to get in touch with one or the other several times today and I can not get anyone
on the phone so I can register.
Is there an email address that I can send the forms to?
Or do I have to do it over the phone and by snail mail?
Allan
