Florida clubs are predominantly Electric,,,

We might have a better chance of attracting new Pylon pilots if a race spectator, also see's a few EF-1 heats :D

Ray,

I am not sure if they are doing a combined trophy. I have not heard anything about it, but that doesn't mean they aren't..

Here is the updated pilots list as of today. I still only have one confirmed 424 pilot.

EF1 question... Can you race it on the 426 course? If the answer is yes, we could race it on Saturday if we have at least 5 guys.

Thanks
Gary Jr.

Gary,

We run EF-1 on the 426 course here in the Midwest during the regular season. Jim Allen and the winterfest crew fly the 426 course for both events as well. (a couple seconds behind GS as usual! What Schmidtty said)

Trey you were also the ONLY 424 pilot... If we don't get 5 in either 424 or EF1 by Friday the 24th we will just be racing 426 and 422.

Racing has really taken a beating in the Southeast.

Thanks to all who will be attending. I will say with the numbers getting so low this may be the last year the club will shut down the field for this race. We are losing clubs left and right and this is one of the 3 places in Florida hosting races each year. If you are on the fence about coming please make the leap and come even if it is just for one day. There are a few pilots that are less than 30 min from this field and I don't see their names. If you care about pylon and the future of it please support this race for nothing other than the sake of RC pylon. There are guys coming for all over the US to support this.

We will only be racing 426 on Sat and 422 on Sunday. Looks like the weather is going to be perfect.

Had a few more sign up today! Trophies are in and the field is in great shape for everyone to enjoy some great racing this weekend. See you all soon and thanks to all for supporting one of the longest running races in the US.

For those of us arriving on Thursday, will the pits be marked? Also are we using club rules or do we have the afternoon to fly on the course?

The crew is going out there on Thursday to set-up the course and pits. I believe the field will be closed during this time in the morning, once they are done the field will be open for practice along with all day Friday.
