2020 NMPRA CHAMPIONSHIP RACE ON LINE TROPHY PRESENTATION

AFTER A FEW DELAYS FROM THE MANUFACTURER AND ALSO THE COVID ISSUE THE AWARDS ARE FINALLY HERE AND IT HAS BEEN DECIDED TO PRESENT THE 2020 NMPRA CHAMPIONSHIP RACE AWARDS ON LINE. THE ACTUAL AWARDS HAVE ALREADY BEEN SHIPPED TO ALL RECIPIENTS VIA FEDEX AS OF MONDAY 12/21/20. THESE AWARDS WERE CUSTOM MADE AND WERE MODELED AFTER MR. JIM GAGER'S TSUNAMI WHICH WAS THE VERY FIRST QUARTER FORTY. LEGEND HAS IT WITH MR. GAGER DESIGNING AND BUILDING THE VERY FIRST QUARTER FORTY TSUNAMI AND DAVID LATSHA AS THE PILOT ON THE TSUNAMI'S MAIDEN FLIGHT. THIS HISTORY CHANGING EVENT HAPPENED IN THE EARLY 1990s. MAYBE 1992.
THE RACING COMMUNITY OWES MR. GAGER A VERY BIG THANK YOU FOR EVERYTHING THAT HE HAS DONE FOR OUR SPORT. SO ON BEHALF OF THE RACING COMMUNITY, THANK YOU MR. JIM GAGER! THERE IS AN "APPRECIATION AWARD" ON IT'S WAY TO YOU SIR.
